“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  Proverbs 22:6 “…Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:18

The Children’s Ministry touches the hearts, minds, and spirits of children in and around St. John’s UMC and the community.  Some of the ministry’s goals are to mold and equip children to have a personal relationship with the Lord by teaching them to praise God, worship God, pray to God, create discipline, and build high self-esteem by providing the proper loving and nurturing environment.  The primary goal of the children’s ministry is to make children disciples.
