Welcome to The Ministry of Care
Caring Arms Reaching Everywhere Reaching the body with Help, Hope and Healing
The care ministry of St. John’s church, is committed to providing the best in spiritual and emotional care for all of the beloved members of our congregation. We offer in person and virtual C.A.R.E. as we navigate through this pandemic, together. Under the direction of Pastor’s Dr. Rudy and Juanita Rasmus, we care for you!
The Theology of C.A.R.E.
When Jesus walked the face of the earth, he represented the care and concern of God for all of humanity. The prophet Isaiah would write, “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed.” Through the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ, he came to bring help, hope, and healing. God has entrusted to us through Christ, the Theology of C.A.R.E.
The Theology of C.A.R.E. is the faithful ministry of a religious and Spiritual community to the needs of persons in face-to-face and virtual relationships. This ministry comes from a genuine C.A.R.E. and concern for each person, valuing them as Jesus would.
The pastor cannot do it alone, so at St. John’s under the direction of Pastor’s Dr. Rudy and Juanita Rasmus, we are taking C.A.R.E. to the next level.
The Theology of C.A.R.E. has Several Components
Prayerful: At St. John’s, we are committed to the power of prayer. We know that it is prayer that moves the hand of God for blessing his people. When a prayer need arises, we are steadfast in our dedication until God moves.
Personal: At St. John’s, every single person is valued regardless of standing or status. Your life here gives you significance among God’s chosen people and we regard your petition as urgent in the eyes of God and ours.
Purposeful: At St. John’s, we embrace our trials as necessary in the Christian experience. In Revelation 12:11, “We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and the words of our testimony.” the purpose of our trials are to bring glory to God. Therefore, we gladly accept what God allows as a means to growth and grace.
Passionate: Passion drove the mission and ministry of Jesus. Only after he had completed the objective of his coming did he say, “It is finished.” The same passion drives the C.A.R.E. ministry here at St. John’s. We are passionate to seeing you through until he who has begun a great work in you is fulfilled.
